Experience Summary
I am a professional educator with 32 years of teaching experience. I taught in the Utah Public School System for 31 years, and I am currently tutoring at a private school. At this private school I am called upon to tutor multiple subjects as well as develop curriculum for online programs. My teaching strengths are highlighted by skills in student management, individualized instruction and motivation. I am also an experienced coach.
Teaching Style
My teaching style has developed over the years into one that enhances a new and innovative approach, often involving games, real-life simulations and multimedia. I work well with unmotivated students and embrace the challenge to help them develop strategies for coping with the demands of the classroom and life. I find myself drawn to the world of teaching as a means to help others and utilize my gregarious personality and creative talents.
