Experience Summary
I am a man born to teach. The inner satisfaction of imparting new
knowledge to someone else, especially of a subject I love, has been the force that drove me through teaching Spanish for 34 years. My writing and speaking skills are equally excellent in Spanish and English. My joy in sharing knowledge drew me to the degree of Media Specialist; helping others to find knowledge. Now retired, I sought out tutoring positions to continue to help others find joy in learning.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is one of great patience, understanding, and desire to help students individually. Tutoring provides the chance to be creative in finding the method that opens the door to learning that which is closed for a child. I am a quiet and laid back mentor who easily wins the confidence of a young person. I am persistent to a fault, until the student comprehends. I believe that practice is the key to learning.
