Experience Summary
I have earned a BA in music, a BS and MS in special education. As a special education teacher, I have taught reading, math, grammar, social studies, vocational education, and writing. I have excellent skills in writing/editing and have tutored in English and math at a learning center . I have also taught silk painting and other forms of art. My students have ranged in age from 6 to 60.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching students at all age levels and abilities. My approach to learning is "hands-on." I include materials that are relevant to my students' lives to improve their understanding of the subject. I also strive to make learning fun, as I believe learning is a life-long endeavor.
