Experience Summary
I have attended private schools for my entire educational career except for the last few months of high school. I was raised to believe that education is one of the most important things one can attain for oneself. As an Early Admissions student, I was accepted to a private liberal arts college as a senior in high school. I always took classes full-time while working part time jobs and maintaining my Academic, Community Service, and Legacy scholarships. I never missed an opportunity to take classes over the summers. This helped accelerate me to graduate with a BA in Communications and a minor in Spanish by the age of 20. I speak Spanish fluently and I've earned several awards in writing and the fine arts. I have tutored students in several subjects including Spanish, English, Math, and Communications.
Teaching Style
I love kids and I'm definitely looking forward to the time when I will have some of my own. I firmly believe in the value of education and hope to help convey that to our youth. I am an extremely understanding, patient, positive, and honest person. I am always willing to help someone in need, especially children, and I would love to have the opportunity to help educate our next generation. I know that for many children, one-on-one tutoring sessions can be more constructive than a classroom full of noisy distractions. Any child can become as successful as they want with help and encouragement in the right areas. I am determined to provide that help and encouragement to our students.
