Experience Summary
I am graduating from the University of South Florida in August with a degree in Biomedical Science. Over the past 3 years, I have nannied for a family a few days a week. My duties included driving the children to and from activities, preparing meals, having fun and walking them through their homework if they had trouble. In completing my B.S I have taken many natural science and math courses which has prepared me to tutor in the areas in biology, chemistry, and physics.
Teaching Style
The children I nannied were in Elementary school and were sent home with homework almost daily. I found the two girls had their individual weaknesses and I believe that I helped them through the tough questions. I would give them hints or different approaches in solving problems until they were able to solve all of the problems on their own. Boosting their self confidence made a difference in their excitement to do homework.
