I have tutored students in English, Biology, Latin, History and Mathematics as well as Music Studies for over a year. My students have consistently improved their grades and improved their GPA's markedly. I have excellent recommendations from parents available on request.
Teaching Style
As the eldest of five children, I have a life of experience working with children and teaching has always been a part of my life, even before I began working in education professionally. I believe that all students should be treated with respect and professionalism and I believe that this is the basis of any good educational approach. I also find that understanding a particular student's needs and learning style is essential. I often employ the Socratic method of teaching students, using questions to elicit thought-provoking discussion of materials.
