Experience Summary
During the last eight years I have tutored students in all subjects I have taken - math, physics, chemistry, biology, etc. I am especially fluent in the sciences as a result of having attended MIT. My writing skills are especially strong as well, due to my choice of major, and I believe I could be an asset to all types of students, especially older students.
Teaching Style
I enjoy tutoring children of all ages. I have nephews whom I tutor that are five and six, and have during the last eight years tutored many children in middle, high school and college. Because I have been very succesful myself in academics, I am often able to show children the simplest path to becoming successful - whether it is a trick to solving algebra problems or creating an outline to make an essay seem like an easily surmountable task. I believe there are very few children who do not want to excel in school and even fewer that do not have the ability to do so. I hope that I can help my students excel in whatever subject area they choose, and in doing so, improve their self-esteem.
