Experience Summary
After completing my MS in geophysics I went to work in the oil business. I found this to be morally troubling and turned to teaching as a way to give back to the community. To my delight I have found that I love to teach, I connect well with kids and they seem to enjoy my teaching style. I have been teaching for eight years and I look forward to many more.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is relaxed and friendly. If the student doesn't like working with me, then the effort is for naught. Once I build a rapport with the student, I try to impress on them the crucial nature of the subject, without being overbearing. Finally, we delve into the material, celebrating success and ferreting out the problems that may confound us.
