Experience Summary
In high school I tutored middle school and elemetary school aged children in reading, math, and chemistry. In college I tutored other peers in history, psychology, Spanish, and math. My current position is in psychology/engineering research. I have learned a wide variety of subjects due to my past experience and my everyday working experience continues to be a great learning environment. I also currently work part-time as a Pharmacy Technician for the past 3 years. I loved my time spent tutoring in the past.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and working with others, especially children. I first like to start with finding out where the child is confused by going over and re-teaching past assignments that were misunderstood. I like to go over past tests and make sure they understand what they missed and teach them the correct answer. I believe that this is very important so they can grasp future material. I will then try many different teaching styles to either find what works best for the particular child or to keep things interesting and keep the child wanting to learn. Nothing is too hard for any child it is just how the material is presented and the fact that someone is taking one on one time with your child to make sure they understand before moving to the next topic.
