Experience Summary
I have a diverse background because I believe diversity of experience enriches life tremendously. I have degrees in business and engineering. I have also sought out writing assignments in past jobs, giving me insight into grammar and composition. My past tutoring experience is primarily in computer software and reading/writing, though I have a strong command of basic math subjects such as algebra.
Teaching Style
I enjoy working with those who have a desire to learn. I understand that education is not only an end in itself, but a means to accomplish life goals. My objective as a tutor is to help students meet their goals and to gain the knowledge they seek. I am very patient. Few things are more satisfying than helping a student gain pride in their accomplishments.
