Experience Summary
A recent graduate of Brown University, I am well accustomed to pursuing education excellence. In my time at Brown, I earned a 3.96 overall GPA and a 4.0 GPA in my area of study. My diverse coursework allowed me to learn material in many subject areas, as well as develop strong study and organizational skills, time management ability, and exceptional work ethic. My researching skills were employed on a daily basis in my studies, as well as my ability to capture those facts in concise and comprehensive writing. In high school, I tutored student at an hourly rate and in college volunteered to tutor inner-city children. Further, I spent countless hours over the past 8 years with fellow student, tutoring them and aiding in their academic success.
Teaching Style
My philosophy of tutoring is rather simple - every individual has unique needs that should be met by a tutor in the most patient, sensitive, and FUN way. I love teaching and working with children to meet their academic goals - focusing not only on content, but also work ethic, organization and study skills, and time management. Everyone can meet their potential - I truly believe that where there is a will, there is a way. I strive to make a difference in all of my students' lives.
