Experience Summary
I have a Bachelor of Arts degree and I just recently received my teaching certification. I want to make a difference in a child’s life and I am excited about working with children. My daughter struggled in school because she had a different learning style and was only taught in one capacity. I worked with her and she was able to succeed. Each child is unique and a teacher should be able to recognize and be sensitive to the individual student needs. I want to fulfill those needs and help the students to reach their fullest potential.
Teaching Style
My teaching style would challenge the students and encourage them to reason. I would devise relevant and engaging exercises that would help create critical thinkers and problem solvers. I would try to provide meaning and purpose to learning by connecting it to the children’s lives. I would encourage the students to learn by doing. I would try to make the lessons relevant and interesting and the activities enjoyable.
