Experience Summary
I have been an assistant teacher for Dekalb County Schools for 2 years and Gwinnett County for 1. I am currently enrolled in an add-on degree program for Interrelated Special Education at UGA where I will be completing my practicum at Radloff Middle School in Duluth. I am also a part-time child care provider where I offer homework assistance by tutoring many of my clients children. My strong suite is in reading, writing and Language Arts.
Teaching Style
I have a unique style of teaching where I create a yearning for learning. I thinking teaching should be fun and exciting so I put my creative skills to work to help teach concepts in unforgettable ways. I have worked with children for almost 10 years now and I've learned especially in special education that children learn at different rates. I believe in excercising patience and plenty of effectual praise which makes a huge difference in students' academic success.
