Experience Summary
I received my Bachelor of Science in Education, and Master of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, Special Education and Human Services Departments. I am a certified middle school language arts special educator in North Carolina with 6 years teaching experience. In past positions, I have served as a school principal, service director and consultant in education.
Teaching Style
I believe all children can learn, but the way in which children are taught must be modified to meet that child's specific learning needs. I also believe that children want and can succeed, but sometimes need encouragement, patience and someone to believe in them. In my opinion, small steps should be rewarded as major milestones; this leads to consistent gains, continuous motivation and life long learning.
