Experience Summary
For three years after college, I tutored Early Reading, Reading, Writing, General Math and Algebra to students in grades K-12. My experiences influenced me to pursue a Masters degree in Special Education. I completed 41 credit hours at the University of Georgia before transferring to USF to complete my degree. While in Georgia, I was a student teacher in Special Education classrooms and an inclusive Algebra classroom.
Teaching Style
I believe that motivation and enthusiasm for learning are key to any student's success. As a teacher, I strive to boost confidence and instill a love of learning in each student. I believe that every child deserves a "special education". It is amazing how much students learn in a short period of time when the curriculum is tailored correctly for that student. I work with each child to help them realize and reach their potential.
