Experience Summary
I have always had the privilege of being a bright student. While excelling in all subjects, I tutored my peers throughout high school and college. I earned my bachelor's of science from the University of Maryland, College Park and am currently in the process of earning my master's degree in biomedical sciences from Barry University. I plan on becoming a dentist and thus, my expertise in math and the sciences is thorough. Other subjects that I am knowledgeable in include: psychology, philosophy, and women's studies.
Teaching Style
Each individual has a different learning style. Therefore, it is best to be flexible when it comes to teaching styles. I believe in determining a child's strengths and weaknesses and utilizing their strengths to build on their weaknesses. Every child has the potential of excelling, it is just a matter of tuning into that potential. Patience, tenacity, and optimism are a must and I believe that I carry each of these traits. I am happy to say that my students have all achieved the goals that their teachers and families set for them. A dynamic teacher eliminates static students.
