Experience Summary
While working on my Masters, I have been a graduate teaching assistant for the past two years. I have taught public speaking and film appreciation. In addition, I have tutored students in both creative and business writing. My degree is in Communication with a minor in English and each course requires a paper of at least twenty pages. I have also had several articles published in the University's newspaper and my first screenplay was selected from a school wide competition and made into a short film.
Teaching Style
I love helping students find their own voice and talents. I believe effective writing and communication skills to be the cornerstones of any successful educational process. I think students benefit from my teaching style as I encourage creative and individual thinking. There is no greater feeling than watching a student grow and reach new heights.
