Experience Summary
I have done extensive training, seminars and workshops to become an effective tutor. As a native French speaker, I taught all levels of the French language to Peace Corps volunteers for two years. I also tutored students ages 13-16 in math and physics.
Teaching Style
When teaching, I create an environment that makes students want to learn. I encourage them to ask questions and quickly say when they do not understand. I help students overcome their academic weaknesses by ensuring a risk-free learning environment. I believe that children learn best when they discuss and explain content to others. As a teacher or tutor, I am always articulate, patient and very enthusiastic.
