Experience Summary
I taught Spanish I and Spanish II for two years to high school students. I have also tutored many students in the Spanish language throughout the last 10 years. I have enjoyed not only teaching and tutoring Spanish grammar but also in Latin American Culture. Students seem to like that part better than the grammar.
Teaching Style
I like to focus on activities and student-centered learning. I find that teaching this way helps my students become more comfortable and at ease which in turn helps them learn independently and grow into active participants in the classroom while collaborating with other students. I try to design learning situations and activities which require my students to process and apply the content learned in a creative and original way. This way they'll never forget!!
