Experience Summary
With a B.A. from an Ivy League college and a Masters from an outstanding writing program, I am more than well qualified to begin a career as a teacher of English and writing. I have taken two teaching internships that have focused on many aspects of classroom management and pedagogy. I am a published professional writer (screenwriting, fiction, literary journalism). I am eager to share my knowledge and skills with students in memorable teaching-learning experiences. The tutoring experience indicated above has been on an informal basis.

I love children and I nurture a passion to become a memorable teacher. I bring energy, enthusiasm, and a desire to implement both traditional and innovative approaches in my teaching. I believe that every student can be empowered to love learning and through it achieve academic success and personal fulfillment.
