Experience Summary
As a graduate from Elon University, I have reached an excelled level of education. I have earned a bachelor degree in human services with a minor in Spanish. I am furthering my education at UCF to obtain my master's in mental health counseling. Through ressearch, paper writing, and presentations, my major has allowed me to become knowledgeable and skilled in the areas of grammatical writing, psychology, Spanish, computers, and the sciences. Throughout the last three years I have tutored students in all elementary and middle school level subjects.
Teaching Style
My passion is to work with children. All children are different, therefore each child learns differently and at one's own pace. My goal is to help each child improve in the appointed subject. I use a collaborative method of teaching; keeping it content- and student-centered. However, I maintain organization and facilitation, while adjusting my approach so it adapts to each individual. Keeping it student-centered allows the student to recognize one's own needs and set goals for his or her own self. Each child is able to reach for their higher self, with the help from the right individual.
