My teaching experience continued when I got a position as a first grade teacher at Guy B. Teachey Elementary. I received extensive training in Technology Resources and I have experience implementing strategies for struggling students in math, reading writing and phonics.
I have a lot of tools and knowledge to bring to a tutoring position. I am passionate, creative and fun. I know that I could be an essential part of the team at Advanced Learners.
Teaching Style
I am a very passionate and dedicated teacher. I strive to be a positive role model for my students and I provide compassion that children need at such a fragile stage in life. I believe that children learn best when engaged and involved in the learning process. I provide goals to children and hold them accountable for their learning. Children need positive encouragement and timely and constructive feedback. I want to place a positive, lasting impression on my students and give children a positive view towards learning early on in life.
