Experience Summary
As a University of Richmond graduate, I am a very driven student and education is my number one priority. As a second semester freshman at the university, I was selected as a Symbolic Logic tutor and also began tutoring Calculus and the Italian language. For three years at the university, I was an Italian teaching assistant for the Italian Studies department and also tutored locally in the city of Richmond on my own. I have an enthusiastic passion for Mathematics and have had ample practice in engaging students and adapting to individual learning styles throughout my collegiate career.
Teaching Style
I believe every child is unique and thus possesses his or her own unique learning style. Adapting to that learning style is key for any teacher. I like to provide examples which appeal to individual interests and help children to learn even when they may not realize they are learning. Students must trust your guidance, and my goal as a tutor has always been to develop a unique relationship with each tutee that enhances the unique learning capabilities for that student.
