Experience Summary
I have a Bachelors and Masters in Elementary Education. I have been a substitute teacher for 6 years. I currently work for Fort Knox Community Schools as a long term substitute teacher. I fill in for the maternity leaves, sicknesses and emergency cases. I am a perferred substitute. In addition, I have tutoring experience. All of my students make gains in subjects that they need help with. I strive to make sure that all students learn at their potential.
Teaching Style
Teaching is my passion. I love working with students and to watch them grow and learn. All students deserve an exceptional education and they should be taught to their own learning style. Many students learn at different rates and need instruction that is based on their weaknesses. Children should be taught in a motivating, caring and empathetic environment. I love to tutor and watch as students move up in their reading, math and science levels. All students should be given this opportunity and that they do have an educator that truly cares about them.
