Experience Summary
My interest in educating others sparked when I first conducted a training program for engineers in my work place. Since then I explored the field of learning and development and gained a lot of knowledge on how knowledge flows from person to person. Inspired by my findings, I did my master’s thesis on Knowledge Management. Today, I share my knowledge with my co-workers by presenting new information. I do it in a way that is interesting and easy to understand. If there is one way I can differentiate myself with others, it is the way I share and present knowledge. I am interesting in tutoring under graduates, high school students on math, physics, chemistry, statistics and computer science.
Teaching Style
I help people to understand complex ideas, gain new knowledge by presenting the information that is interesting and easy to follow. I use a lot of analogy when presenting the information. I choose a field the learner is already familiar with and draw analogies from the field to speed up the knowledge transition. I will ensure the learning is fast and fun and lead the learner to wanting more of the knowledge. I make the learner believe learning does not end with passing a course or exam. When I achieve this, I believe great grades in the exam are definite.
