Experience Summary
As a law school graduate I have experience in many different subjects but my passion and teaching experience lies, however, in dance, the sport of soccer, and the language of Spanish (my native tongue). During my college years, I worked as a volunteer teaching the Spanish language to both youth and adults who spoke only their indigenous tongue. During that time, I also studied Latin dance extensively. I taught courses in Latin dance for over 5 years, as well as performed at over 100 venues in Southern Mexico. I also worked as a paid soccer camp coach for boys for two years. I would like to be able to share with others my knowledge of these three subjects.
Teaching Style
I have over 5 years of experience working with all ages and all levels in Spanish, dance, and soccer. Just as each age level experiences learning in a different way, each individual learns in a different way. Although I have a few different set methods of teaching each subject, I have worked with enough students to be able to adapt my teaching methods to conform to the learning comforts of the student. I believe anyone can learn Spanish or dance at any age if only taught in a method that works for them. Patience and consideration is of the utmost importance as a teacher of any subject.
