Experience Summary
I graduated from Saint Scholastic College in 2007 & have 3 credits toward my Master's Degree.
I've worked the Duluth School district (Elementary) for over 10 years in all capacities (Title One, Tutoring Reading, & Special Ed programs.
I've taught Poetry Classes at the "Young Author's Conference" for two years.
I am a writer & have my own blog called: My Inner Chick.
I've tutored at Laura MacArhtur School for three years at the Valley Youth Center with Elementary Students.
Teaching Style
~I enjoy working with children and observing them thrive and grow.
My goal is to help students unlock his/her full potential...where they discover the love of reading, expressing, and reaching complete success in their ability as learners. I believe when one has a gift, one must share it.
My gift is the love of the written word. I desire to spread my love of reading and writing all over the place because it has transformed my universe.
