Experience Summary
I have been teaching and tutoring students since 2001. I Have taught grades 6-12th & a few college students. I have been a mathematics teacher, substitute teacher, math intervention teacher, a CAHSEE & SAT math prep teacher,& Soccer coach in the William S. Hart Union High School District. In 2007 and 2008 I was fortunate enough to have a math teaching positions at Granada Hills Charter High School and with Los Angeles Mission College. 2009 to 2011 teaching with William S. Hart District. Currently Tutoring for the GMAT test.
Teaching Style
I adapt my teaching style to match that of my learners. For example, Visual, kinesthetic, logical, musical etc. I try to make math fun and show students how to use math to solve real world problems. I create lessons that tap into students background knowledge, cultures, and interests. I love teaching students and assisting them in reaching their academic and life long goals..
