Experience Summary
I graduated from Frostburg State University with two bachelor degrees, BS in Geography and BS in Earth Science. I have tutored students in college level geography classes for two years through the Tutoring Center on Frostburg State's campus. In addition, I developed the Geography Help Group which provided assistance to students in upper-level geography and earth science courses including, but not limited to, Cartography, Research Methods in Geography, Surface Water Hydrology, Geology, Soils, and GIS. The Geography Help Group has been successful program for two years.
Teaching Style
I modify my teaching style to the needs of each student. I communicate concepts, theories and facts using multiple methods, reaching individuals of all learning types, to ensure a thorough understanding of the material.
