Experience Summary
I've always had a passion for math and science, ever since I was very young. I never considered myself much of a language arts person, but always had high marks for my writing skills and vocabulary, from high school to my studies for my bachelor's in biology. Though I've taught many people through a fitness setting, I've also tutored others in chemistry, writing, biology, anatomy, physiology, algebra, and geometry.
Teaching Style
I've always had patience for people, yet the last ten years have given me experience in learning to reach and encourage students, helping them to truly understand and not just memorize. Finding analogies and clever descriptions, as well as putting things in the right context is my usual approach. However, easing frustrations and building self-esteem is crucial for building the appreciation for the subject, after which success is sure to follow.
