Experience Summary
I have many years of tutoring experience. I have tutored all types and levels of students including but not limited to: GATE, English learners and at-risk students (Preschool-7th grade). I am enrolled in a teaching credential program and have passed the CSET and CBEST. I participated in the tutor connection training program, attended a classroom management seminar and am familiar with SIOP and GLAD strategies.
Teaching Style
My teaching style is student centered. I change my teaching style to fit the needs of each individual student. I try to include s and visuals into my lessons. I believe for a student to understand a concept, they have to hear it, see it, touch it and do it.
