Experience Summary
At the present time I am working at the University of Michigan as a Research Lab Specialist Lead. Beside research this position enables me to interact with students and teach them the biologic basic skills. I am challenged to be creative, nurturing and most of all, patient.
During my Ph.D. program I had the opportunity to teach at the European classes (ERASMUS)for college students. This position allowed me to teach to students from all over the world. I also had the chance to take care of children in high school as a mentor. It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution to the education field.
Teaching Style
I value certain aspects of teaching methodology not necessarily emphasized in previous generations. I view teaching as a highly dynamic process. In regards to my own views of teaching, I think learning must be interesting and fun. A teacher will not only be a guide on the path to a better understanding of difficult concepts, he will also be a motivator to stimulate open minds. Finally, I believe that knowledge is a right for all. As a teacher, I will be on the front line accomplishing what I feel society needs most: a more educated workforce and students more prepared for their professional careers
