Experience Summary
I currently teach GED math for Guilford Technical Community College. I have been teaching in the GED program for 8 years now. I also tutor adults for GTCC who are trying to upgrade their math skills to pass the NC CRC test. I taught pre-k for 3 years with Guilford Child Development. I have 2 kids of my own and I enjoy helping people!
Teaching Style
I am now in Graduate School trying to achieve my masters in curriculum and instruction. The last couple of courses we have really focused on the 8 intelligences. This provides guidance to teaching every type of learner. So the first thing I would like to do would be to figure out what type of learner I am working with and implement a lesson plan specifically for them.
