Experience Summary
I have earned a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, in which I have utilized in the Orange County Public School system. In my first year of teaching, I served as the grade level chairperson for the 5th grade. I have a deep passion for children to excel in their academics; especially those children who are already facing challenges. Additionally, I have worked in trying to build literacy in adults, by being an adult literacy tutor. I am an advocate of education!
Teaching Style
I truly believe that children learn differently, and my objective is to find that nitch in a child, and teach/tutor from that angle. I feel like children have to be able to relate to things in order to truly understand them. When you expose a child to things they are unfamiliar with, it opens up their capacity to learn and comprehend better.
