I have tutored and/or taught students from kindergarten to eighth grade. I have spent the last several years teaching in bilingual and dual language (where students learn another language) classrooms. I am experienced in all elementary subject areas and middle school and high school Spanish.
Teaching Style
I love to teach, and I love helping students understand concepts they might otherwise find difficult. I believe every student is capable of success, and I am committed to helping them succeed. I love to find out my student's interests and use those to help them learn. I use a variety of movement, songs, chants, and gestures when appropriate to aid in language learning. I feel that my teaching philosophies, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, flexibility, professionalism, and Spanish language proficiency will serve your students well.
