Experience Summary
I have been an engineer for many years and use math and computers on a daily basis. I enjoy solving math problems and am particularly good at it.
I tutored elementary math in high school and taught a 16 week shop math class to Mechaincs where I worked as an engineer twice for free. I frequently help people with math and computer programs.
I have a great interest in computers and am very good at Microsoft Word and Excel and AutoCAD. I have been using these programs for twenty plus years and spend a lot of time learning shortcuts and developing new ways of using commands that I already know. I love showing others how to improve their productivity and am the "go to" person at work for help and tutoring.
Teaching Style
I have a very basic approach to math and can usually get people to understand much better than the typical classroom style of teaching.
I am patient and try to help people grasp the basic principles so they can figure things out again on their own. They should not have to rely on trying to memorize formulas because that doesn't last.
