Experience Summary
I obtained a B.S. in Chemical Engineering which provides me with a strong base in math, physics and chemistry and am a licensed professional engineer (PE) in Chemical Engineering and Environmental Engineering each of which required passing a rigorous 8-hour exam. As a result, I've gained valuable experience in preparing for and successfully passing tests as well as applying math and science principles to solve real-world problems in a practical manner. I have also tutored math and science in the past and helped students succeed by explaining difficult concepts in an easy to understand manner.
Teaching Style
I truly enjoy teaching students and helping them overcome their problems and empowering them with skills that will allow them to be successful even after our tutoring sessions have concluded. I am especially committed to math and science education and want to help students unlock their full potential so that they can succeed in any area of study and any future professional endeavors that they pursue. I am polite, have a positive attitude and do not judge the student. My approach to teaching is based on building the skills of the student to help them gain confidence and improve their learning experience which will ultimately raise their grades.
