Experience Summary
For the past 4 years I have worked as a substitute teacher in the Orange County School System. I have experienced in K-12, adult education, technical education and alternative education. This past year I have worked in a long term teaching capacity as well as tutoring at risk students for the FCAT as well as Social Studies, Language Arts, Science and Math at Robinswood Middle School. I will be taking my certification exam in a couple of weeks in middle grades social science.
Teaching Style
I am a mentor and a coach. I keep students engaged using popular resources such as the internet, intergrated learning and using programs designed to enhance the students learning ability through on hands learning. Discipline and trust is an attribute of mine. I keep parents informed and have a zero tolerance for allowing my students to be under achievers.
