Experience Summary
I earned my BA in general studies with a minor in accounting. I was an Ameri-Corp tutor for two years in 1997-1999 in the public school system. As an Ameri-corp tutor I worked inside a classroom assisting up to 32 students when needed in math or reading. I tutored four high school students independently in math during a two year period. The subject areas included algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus.
Teaching Style
I believe that all children can learn its just finding that spark within them to want to learn. I feel that I can encourage a child to see the importance of an education. Also I have patience with slow learners from first hand experience.
