Experience Summary
My name is James and I am currently working for AXA-Advisors on a non-contractual basis enrolling public school employees into 403(b) retirement savings plans. The school year now-ending frees time for me to pursue a summer tutoring job for more personal income. I am interested in your position as a math/finance tutor. I am a 2010 graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University with a BS in Finance. I have never obtained any educators’ licenses and have limited experience tutoring, but would like the opportunity, and I have passed background checks for Lee and Collier district vendor badges.
Teaching Style
Communication of ideas is key to helping the student learn what is being taught to them. If your student understands and grasps ideas-concepts-formulas, reinforce them with exercises. But you must be keenly aware if they have difficulty, then you must help them to overcome problems by solving problems and awakening the power of thought.
