Experience Summary
I taught English Compostion for 10 years @ Johnson & Wales University; I taught Freshman Seminar classes for 4 years @ Bryant University; I taught @ Gibbs College for 3 years, and I currently teach English Composition, Reading and Speech for the Community College of RI. I am the director of the Academic Center for the Naval Preparatory School in Newport.
Teaching Style
As an educator for the past 30 years,I have always encouraged students to be the best they can be. There is no such thing as a dumb child. They just need encouragement and nuturing to do their best. As E.E. Cummings once said "It takes courage to grow up and become who you are." Through my teaching and encouragement, I try to help students find that strength.
