Experience Summary
I have seven years of experience sharing my passion for mathematics, science and learning with students. I taught students with a spectrum of backgrounds, from English language learners to undergraduates. Though my degree is in Biology and I began my career teaching science, I have been teaching math for the last four years. I am recognized as a highly qualified in Math and Science by Colorado's standards for non-licensed teachers. I enjoy working with students of any ability in math, chemistry, physics, and biology.
Teaching Style
I enjoy having conversations with my students, asking them questions, actively engaged in assessing how well they understand the concepts. This allows me to best serve them a learners in the present, as well as to anticipate where difficulty might arise in the future. This informal, conversational approach works magnificently for very young students, older students and college students alike.
