Experience Summary
Having attended both the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology (IIT) high school and their college program my academic foundation is extremely strong.
After I graduated high school, I had my first experience in tutoring math through my own modest tutoring "business". My strength as a teacher grew while, at the IIT, I was certified as a tutor for my fellow students, in math & computer programming.
I recently took the GRE math test and earned a perfect score. Given this achievement I have been able to tutor other people on how to achieve the best score they can on the math GRE. Currently, I am looking towards the future, in preparing to take the GRE math subject test, inorder to achieve a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics.
Teaching Style
He, who loves a subject, loves to teach others to love it too! My passion for seeing the formulas and numbers come alive through teaching is clear.
I am extremely, patient, non-j-udgmental and I do not assume anything of my students. I prefer to start teaching my students the foundations; after they have a good foundation of the subject then I create all kinds of exercises that cover the material in detail. I like to use a variety of creative methods in addition to the traditional tools of memorization and practice. I always like to bring in real world examples in an effort to help my students understand why learning the math applies to all that is around them.
