Experience Summary
As a graduate from the University of Nevada Reno, I have been exposed to an array of coaching and educational opportunities. I have a degree in Health Sciences and a minor in Psychology and I'm also an EMT-Intermediate, making me very confident in tutoring many science areas. In the Fall I will be begin a degree in Civil Engineering.
I volunteered as President of the Rugby Club, a Special Olympics coach, a caregiver for severely mental disabled adults, and at a Sports Medicine clinic. I was a Ski Instructor and coach for the past 2 winters. In addition to my vast science knowledge, I have learned extensive writing and grammatical skills writing research papers, essays, laboratory reports, and fellowship applications.
Teaching Style
I have worked with all different populations and have adapted and altered my teaching styles to fit the needs of the pupil. I'm a firm believer in hard work and perseverance because it all pays off in the end and you will always come out on top. I believe a student’s environment can positively effect their performance and outcome, thus making me a great person to be around because I’m personable and approachable. I make it a personal goal to give 100% to each and every student and athlete I come in contact with because they are the future and I want to have a very bright one!
