Experience Summary
Throughout my years studying physics and electrical engineering at the University of West Florida, I have never lacked the desire to help out fellow classmates or younger students on various laboratory reports, conceptualizing key concepts, or even just understanding specific problem assignments. During my senior year at UWF I was part of the physics tutoring team. Because of my Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics/Engineering and two minors in mathematics and electrical engineering, I am very versatile in what I can tutor. In addition to these official degrees, I am well-versed in the art technical writing and designing formal documents. I can also assists students in standardized test preparation, such as the GRE and SAT.
Teaching Style
I believe I can owe my passion to helping out others to the Boy Scouts of America. During my 10 years participating in the organization, I acquired several leadership skills and unique teaching styles that separate me from your everyday tutor. I strive to incite a student or peer's interest in a subject as well as their understanding. This is my utmost goal and can make a huge difference in performance. Everyone whom I have assisted up to this point has described me as easy to get along with, to the point, and most importantly, patient. I can assure you that any request for tutoring will be met with the utmost decorum and professionalism.
