Experience Summary
I am very passionate about helping others succeed. One of the best decisions that I have ever made was to pursue my childhood dream of being a teacher. I have primarily worked with at-risk populations (varying age groups) and believe in every single one of my students.
I have a Master's degree in Education and a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology. I have worked in a variety of settings including elementary schools, a middle school, church, a college, and most recently a language center working with foreign exchange students learning english.
I love teaching, inspiring, mentoring and encouraging students of all ages!
Teaching Style
I believe that every student can learn. When I work with adult students, I am amazed at the ones that don't really believe in themselves. Some adults have been discouraged by family members, life circumstances, or by their poor performance in school.
Regardless of the reasons, I always try to help my students see their potential and tap into their dreams. We all have a dream in our heart. I think that when my students start to believe in themselves again they achieve greater levels of success.
My goal is to help them move beyond their past experiences and see more clearly their potential.
