Experience Summary
With over 8 years of hands-on, successful teaching experience, I’m confident in my ability and passion to be an excellent French Teacher. I have earned all my degrees in French area (West Africa, France and Quebec, Canada). Being a Native French and a versatile individual, I have had the opportunity to teach preschool and undergraduate students. I have been very successful at accommodating diverse students needs by facilitating all styles of learners, offering individualized and extracurricular support, and integrating effective materials.
Teaching Style
As a French teacher, I encouraged learning by using a number of different manipulative, hand-on activities, and various forms of technology. By incorporating discussions and open-ended questions, I was able to facilitate a highly interactive and inquisitive atmosphere. In addition, I utilized weekly quizzes and monthly tests to track student progress, locate areas of weakness, and prepare students for finals exams. My goal is to increase student motivation, awareness, and understanding of French Language, while implementing interdisciplinary-based lessons involving grammar, vocabulary and reading comprehension.
