Experience Summary
While attending Florida A&M University I always had a passion for Mathematics, therefore my first year I took Honors Calculus I and received a grade of a 'B'. From that point I completed my Bachelor degree in Computer Information Systems and took my passion in math and began to work on my MEd in Secondary education. During that time I had the opportunity to substitute students in 6-12 grade in two different counties. I also completed my student teaching experience at Shiloh High School in Snellville, GA where I taught 9th-11th Algebra I & II and Geometry.
Teaching Style
As an educator my teaching style is very laid back and easy going. I like my students to use there own knowledge to search for a solution while I give them a little bit of guidance. My non-threatening approach tends to win over students and helps them feel relax and not fear to ask questions. My goal is to improve all students in the areas of math and help them feel more comfortable when they encounter it on there own.
