Experience Summary
I hold a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies, providing me with a well-rounded college education. In addition to that, I am currently seeking a Masters degree in Education. At the end of this program, I will hold a teaching license. I love learning and encouraging others to strive to do their best. I have worked with all age groups (elementary through college age students), mentoring and teaching them along the way. I don’t have a preferred age group to work with, as I believe there are advantages to each age group. I am going to be specialized in the social sciences once I have my teaching license, but I have worked with not only that subject, but math, English, science, and writing.
Teaching Style
I love working with people and have done my best to always be doing so throughout my life. While in high school, I tutored and mentored other high school students. While in college, I started working with all age groups (pre-K through college), working as a mentor and a tutor for fellow college students. I have learned the importance of adapting my teaching style to the person that I am working with in order to help them succeed. I want every person that I help to reach his or her full potential. I will feel exceptionally honored if you choose me to make a difference in your child’s life.
