Experience Summary
I worked as a Graduate Assistant when I completed my Ph.D. I have helped my daughters with their studies in school after that. My older daughter is now in college.
I work full-time in the IT industry and would like to tutor part-time in the evenings or on week-ends in Math and Physics. It is a way for me to keep in touch with academics while helping students.
Teaching Style
I was lucky to have had excellent teachers in school. Whenever I see students struggle, I want to show them a way by which they can understand the concept.
I do feel with some effort and reiteration, students can understand and grow in confidence. The reason most of them find a subject difficult is because they don't understand it. Once they start understanding, they will experience a joy when they get a problem right. With time, this will translate into a love for the subject.
